  • Sakonnet Golf Club Competes in ACBL-wide IMP Game

    Another interesting afternoon at the bridge table took place today as the players at the Sakonnet Gold Club competed in the ACBL-wide Instant Match Point Game - Digital Edition. Eleven tables were in play and the winners were awarded an array of colorful points. Liz Schroeder and her guest, Margaret Southern had an astonishing 79% game. Congratulations to all!   • Joan Ceglarski Dies

    Despite the headline, it is with a joyful heart that I share the news of Joan Ceglarski's passing. She died peacefully on Wednesday, March 15th, surrounded by the people she most cared about and in the house she loved. As I placed my hand on the pall covering her coffin at Mass yesterday, I was filled with a comforting peace and the sure knowledge she was already wrapped in the perfect love of the next part of her life.   • Memorial Mass & Another Lost Player

    Our Annual Memorial Mass and Breakfast was held on Tuesday, November 12th @ 9:00. The service took placeat St. Barnabas Church on East Main Road in Portsmouth and was followed with a breakfast at Foodworks, just up the street. Itwas such a wonderful opportunity to get together and remember both our bridge family members who have died and members of our extended family.
